You need a Task Analytics account before you can access Task Analytics. When you register for an account, we collect your name and email address. Your password, while collected, is stored securely only in a hashed form.
Local Storage
We also make use of your browser’s Local Storage. This allows your web browser to cache some application settings and, more importantly, the access token created when you authenticate with our application. This is required for secure access to Task Analytics.
Single sign-on (SSO)
Single sign-on (SSO) is a property of access control of multiple related, yet independent, software systems. With this property, a user logs in with a single ID and password to gain access. SSO shares centralized authentication servers that all other applications and systems use for authentication purposes and combines this with techniques to ensure that users do not have to actively enter their credentials more than once. It’s a secure authentication system that reduces the burden of login for users.
